A new supermarket is scheduled to be introduced by Publix to an upscale waterfront residential and retail complex located near the causeway that connects Miami and Miami Beach. The luxury condominiums at 1850 John F. Kennedy Causeway in North Bay Village will be the centerpiece of the development, which is anchored by the 35,037-square-foot store. According to Claudia Gonzales Moreno, spokesperson for Levy Public Relations at Shoma Bay, penthouse prices commence at $3.1 million, with the highest-tier units priced at $5.3 million.
The new Publix will be a significant asset to the community, despite its diminutive size in comparison to other recently opened locations throughout the state. Nevertheless, Publix spokesperson Lindsey Willis stated that it is still premature to determine the store’s opening date or the services it will provide.
The Kennedy Causeway, also known as the 79th Street Causeway, serves as a critical connection between Miami and Miami Beach. It passes through North Bay Village, a picturesque neighborhood that is distinguished by its eclectic blend of high-rise condominiums, single-family residences, and lively dining establishments.
