Special Assessment & HELOC: Required Documents and Assistance Available

Dear Owners,

For those applying to the Miami-Dade Condominium Special Assessment Program, please note the following:

After submitting your application, you will receive a “Confirmation of Condominium Special Assessment Application.” Please bring a copy of this confirmation to the office.

If at any point you are asked to submit additional information regarding the condominium or the project, let me know — I will be happy to assist you.

As stated in the application, the monthly payments will be calculated at 0% interest, with a repayment term of 40 years.
This loan is a significant relief for all condominium owners and residents facing the required re-certification work.

Attached you will find the 2024 Condominium Budget, as well as copies of the Condo Hazard and Flood Insurance policies — these are part of the required documentation.

For owners applying for a HELOC loan, similar documentation may be required by the bank.

Once approved, this type of loan will make funds available to you. Please remember that at this time, you only need 50% of the total amount, so you will withdraw only that portion and pay interest solely on it. The remaining funds can be accessed when needed.
