Your understanding and cooperation are essential regarding the repairs needed to ensure the building’s safety and to successfully complete the 60-Year Recertification process.
We began this process almost a year ago with a study and report prepared by the structural engineering firm ACG Engineering.
Since then, the board has been collecting proposals from various general contracting (GC) companies. Some of these proposals now require updates to reflect current pricing.
The structural report has identified several serious issues, making time crucial.
We kindly request that all owners participate in this effort by helping to obtain updated proposals from qualified GC companies. I will provide the engineering specifications required for these proposals.
Please note: all proposals must be submitted by May 30. Submissions after this date will not be accepted.
The board, in collaboration with the structural engineers, will review all submitted proposals and keep you informed of the findings.
